A Seattle transplant by way of the Midwest, Joe Sheldon instantly fell in love with the area's beauty and year-round access to outdoor activities when he arrived a decade ago. Joe's path to real estate was by no means a straight line. In fact, before becoming a realtor, Joe had two distinctly different and varied careers, spending nine years in IT and another nine years in emergency services (six as a volunteer firefighter and the other three as an EMT). Both occupations proved deeply rewarding, and as an EMT Joe's deep empathy came into play.

In some respects though, life in real estate was inevitable from the start, as Joe's father was a home builder. This early exposure to the family business informs Joe's understanding of new construction and development, and his appreciation for the care and attention it takes to find the ideal home and deep understanding of the ins an outs of property sales.

Joe's diverse background has indeed shaped his success as a realtor. Honing his keen eye for detail and analytical mind, his IT experience also provided him a unique insight into advancing technologies in real estate and beyond. He stays on top of market trends at all levels and is well respected for his business acumen and knowledge. The backbone of his research informs his innate market intuition and his strong negotiation skills.
