The Private Client Group is a group of vetted, experienced real estate agents in markets throughout the United States who provide, receive, and facilitate referrals for home buyers and sellers who need expert help.

Joining The Network

How to Join

Agents are invited to apply for inclusion in the Private Client Group. After your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted for any additional information that may be needed, accepted into the network, added to the waitlist when necessary, or rejected from the network if your application doesn’t meet the requirements. Requirements

Agents in the Private Client Group must meet the following requirements.
1. Location: In general, we accept one agent per county into the network. Some exceptions may be granted based on the local city and county boundaries and market areas.
2. Experience: Agents who are invited to join the network must have at least 3 years of experience as a real estate in their local market. Agents must also have a minimum of 20 closed transactions in their career. Lastly, agents must be influencers in their local market - this can be through various methods, including social media, large professional networks, being involved in local real estate groups, and more. There are no set requirements for the influencer requirement.
3. Technical: All agents in the network must use a professional CRM, client home search portal, and transaction management processes. Agents who receive referrals through the network must communicate regularly and thoroughly with agents who send referrals. This includes updates no less than monthly (weekly is ideal), and updates at major milestones such as pre-approval, in contract, and closing.
4. Referral Fees: Agent who are invited to the network must commit to providing, accepting referrals at a rate of 30%. All referrals are at this rate and may not be increased or decreased.
5. Promotion: Agents in the network commit to being active in their local agent community and promoting referrals through the network. This includes using every opportunity to facilitate referrals, and providing warm introductions to agents who need reliable referrals but aren’t members of the network.
6. Commitment: Being a member of the Private Client Group comes with a few responsibilities. First and foremost is ensuring professional, warm hand-off referrals at every opportunity. Second is participating in a monthly video call (must attend 8 out of 10 meetings per year). Third is communicating all referrals the agent has facilitated or participated in, using forms provided by the network administrators.
7. Ethical: All agents who participate in the network must commit to doing business in an ethical way, always. This includes following local and state laws, local MLS rules, and a commitment to always putting the client’s interests first. Agents must commit to strictly following all fair housing laws and rules. In order to ensure optimal outcomes for clients, referrals facilitated through the network must not be listed via pocket listings (include private exclusives or any other similar nomenclature). Note: At the moment, agents affiliated with Compass are currently not able to join the Private Client Group. Compass agents are welcome to apply for future opportunities.

Facilitating Referrals

Once your application is approved and you are added to the network, instructions for facilitating referrals through the network will be provided to you. You will also be added to the Private Client Group Facebook group to stay informed of processes and network with other network agents.
